Food Safety Hotline 2833 8181

"Food Safety Hotline: 2833 8181" was launched on 17 October 2011. Residents can choose to listen to relevant food safety information or talk to a staff member in charge during the phone call. The main purpose of the hotline is to clear public doubts regarding food safety issues.
 

Office hours:

Monday to Sunday, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (no lunch break)
 
Calls are received by designated personnel during office hours. A telephone message recording system will be in place when lines are busy or during non-office hours.
 
The IACM pledges to telephone the residents in response to their enquiries using the "telephone message recording" service, transfer their opinions to the relevant departments and inform the concerned person of the follow-up of the cases on the first working day following the date of receipt of the telephone message.​
