The scope of work of the IACM is closely related to residents’ daily lives. For the convenience of the public to obtain information about administrative formalities from time to time, the IACM has compiled this “A Guide to Administrative Formalities” with clear categorisation of services provided by different units of the department.

More than 100 service items are listed in this guide, which are related to culture and entertainment, recreation and sports, environment and greening, health and quarantine, issuance and renewal of licenses and permits, vehicle registration and inspection, community association venue and logistics support, issuance of all kind of certificates and application for cemetery services. People may easily obtain information about the relevant services and administrative formalities via the Internet. It helps enhancing the communication between the public and the IACM, minimising the gap between the applicants and the departments, thus achieving better service efficiency.
