Documents to be submitted1. Supporting document(s) or declaration(s) (020/SAL) to identify the relationship between the applicant and the deceased person;
2. Photocopy of receipt of exhumation service;
3. A legible photocopy of identity document of the applicant.
Additional documents to be submitted (those that must be submitted when applicable):
1. For bone remains or bone ashes obtained from private cemeteries, the applicants are required to apply for License for Relocation of Human Remains into Public Cemeteries and submit a legible photocopy of identity document of the deceased person. For bone remains, applicants are required to submit the License for Relocation of Human Remains issued by the Health Bureau. For bone ashes, they are required to submit supporting documents on cremation..

Important notesTo become eligible for the application of bone boxes in the cemeteries affiliated to the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau (IACM), applicants or the deceased persons must meet one of the following requirements:
1.The deceased person was a holder of Macao Identity Card (permanent or non-permanent);
2.The applicant is a holder of Macao Identity Card (permanent or non-permanent), and the deceased person was the applicant’s spouse or an immediate lineal relative to the applicant by blood;
3.The deceased person passed away in Macao.
Target groupThose who intend to place the bone remains or bone ashes of their deceased family members/relatives in the bone boxes of the public cemeteries.
Application fee1. Granting first-time right of use for 50 years – Class A : Mop 6000.00
Granting first-time right of use for 50 years – Class A : Mop 3600.00

2. For bone remains or ashes obtained from private cemeteries - Permit for Relocation of Human Remains into Public Cemeteries: Mop 100.00
